Hello there! Thanks for your info on the Bee Pollen "buzz". I've been trying a sample pack of another type called Zi Xiu Tang Bee Pollen. I was wondering what your take was on these? Several people at work are taking them and feel good, haven't had many headaches (which is the main reason I started taking them) There's SO many choices out there, I'm just concerned w/ them coming from China and want the best kind. Thanks for any input. I've been feeling pretty good but felt sorta off today and tired too. Just concerned..Thanks again!
Angela's Response:
The truth is that it is not actually a bee pollen product. It contain several other ingredients, one of which is causing the laxative effect. It contains some type of fiber in it, but the website doesn't say what the source is. So, if people are experiencing weight loss on this product, chances are it is partly or fully because of the laxative effect. You will not experience a laxative effect from taking local bee pollen or at least it is highly unlikely that you would. I'm highly skeptical of this Zi Xiu Tang product. In fact, I can't believe they are still in business with the claims that they are making on their site. I'm surprised the FDA has not shut them down yet. Anyways, hope that helps!
