I have seen from your comments that you say the refrigerator life of bee pollen is about a year or 2. I have an almost full glass jar in fridge for well over 7 yrs. It smells and tastes, fine but I forget exactly how it looked when I got it. The granules are several different shades from an orangeyellow to a dark yellow. Some granules look darker with almost a green hue? Doesn't smell moldy and they are evenly dispersed throughout. Is that normal? Should I heave?
Hard to say Kim but the main thing you'd want to check for is a sign of mold, which you've done. It also doesn't smell 'off' so it may be ok. Bee pollen is very high in antioxidants, which act like preservatives.
