Hello,
I live in Texas and was curious wether purchasing pollen and honey from an outside state made any difference health wise rather than buying locally? Any information would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
Chris

Hi Chris,
The local flora will determine the characteristics and different pollen's of the honey and bee pollen in your area. This is most beneficial if you are using raw honey and bee pollen for allergy relief as you'll want the pollen and honey to contain the specific pollen's that you are allergic too. The theory is that you'll expose yourself to micro doses of the very pollens that you are reacting too and develop an immunity to it.
If allergies are not an issue for you and you are using bee pollen for other benefits, then having a local source is of less importance to you as you're consuming it for its high levels of vitamins, minerals, amino acids and other anti-oxidants. If this is the case, choose a high quality bee pollen that is North American sourced, freshly packaged and from a wide variety of sources to provide you with a vast array of nutrients.
Hope that helps,
Angela
