Hello! For a long time I have avoided honey-anything. I didn't like how it made my throat dry and sand paper like. Similar to a sore throat no matter the brand or if it was labeled organic. If it was a cough drop or added in my tea. But a few months ago I visited a local Farmer's Market and saw a lady selling honey she said was from a nearby city. I had heard a lot of great things about eating local honey. And I have over the years become allergic to many things after not being allergic to anything, so I was hoping it would help if I could get over the sore throat symptom. She gave me a sample and the texture was creamy, not thick like store honey, and my throat was fine. I bought a small jar to take home and still was fine eating it by the spoon or in my tea. I was wondering why does store honey products give me this symptom but not local, and am I really allergic to it if I'm not allergic to the local wildflower organic honey?
Thank you for your help in advance!
