No menstruation since propolis

by Manuela
(Innsbruck)

I am 29 and started taking propolis a few weeks ago. Now I am two weeks overdue with my period. Normally it is really no problem, 28 days rhythm. I feel, since two, three weeks, like my period would start immediately. Abdominal pain as always but no period. Otherwise i feel like always, no problems or irregularities. I stopped taking propolis 4 days ago and until today no sign of menstruation.

Can propolis be the reason?

Angela's comments:

I would say that it is highly unlikely Manuella but possible. Stay off the Propolis for several more weeks to see if your cycle returns to normal.

This just happened to me and now my period is two weeks late. Did you stop taking it? and how long did it take your period to go back to normal?

Just wondering if you ever did get it, and how long it took to come back. I’m 8 days late and know I’m not pregnant. I think it’s the Propolis causing this.
