Maltodextrin?

One of the ingredients of your capsules (for Propolis, Royal Jelly & Bee Pollen) is Maltodextrin. Kindly explain the source, safety, purpose, interaction with the bee products & possible side effects (if any) of such.
Thank you so much.
Angela's Comments:
Hi Zan,
Maltodextrin is a natural carbohyrdate from corn. It is a food that has a long history of safety and use in many supplements and food products. We simply use it to aid in getting the propolis into the capsule (propolis is very sticky by nature and can be difficult encapsulating or bottling).
There are virtually no side effects to consuming maltodextrin, provided you don't have a corn allergy or sensitivity.
Bee healthy,
Angela
