Do royal jelly capsules expire?

I have a bottle of royal jelly capsules that I have forgotten for about a year. I checked it...it smells a little sour (doesn't royal jelly sour), and the royal jelly powder appear to have a light beige color through the transparent capsule. Do you think it is still safe to consume?

Do royal jelly capsules expire

Yes, they can and do expire. Generally the expiry date is two years after manufacture. The smell and color you are describing doesn't raise any concerns to me. The best bet would be to contact the manufacturer to see when they were manufactured. In the future, only buy a product that has a lot number and an expiry date on it.
