Balancing Blood Sugar and Weight Loss

by Paul

I had my doubts at first with all the cravings about Bee Pollen but now I must say I am a true believer. I started taking the raw Bee Pollen about a month ago hoping it would help my Blood sugar spikes. I used to crave sweets all the time and I must say the cravings have stopped. I no longer have to have daily doses of candy or Ice Cream to get through the day. Also since starting on the raw Pollen my appetite is down to what I call normal. I have cut my calorie intake by at least a third without even trying, I just don't want to eat as much. And of course the main reason I started taking it is because of the flu season. I am around sick people daily and have worked so much I haven't had time for a flu shot. Everyone at work, my friends and of course my family have been down with the flu, broncytus, sore throats you name it, well they won't listen to me after all I'm the only one to not catch anything yet. Not saying I won't but with all the oppurtunity I've had this year I should have it.
All I can say is Bee Pollen is here to stay with me.

Daily Bee Pollen intake
by: Anonymous

Someone asked how much Pollen to I take. I sprinkle a large tablespoon on my cereal every morning.
Two things I have noticed this past year taking the Bee Pollen. Hair grows like crazy and finger nails grow and are healthier.
I am also raising my daily intake of Propolis from one capsule in the morning to one in the morning and one at night.

How much bee pollen to take for weight loss?

by Brenda H.

My question is about weight loss. I was wondering what would be the correct amount of Bee Pollen granules to take to assist with weight loss? I have read many testimonials about a certain diet aid that contains Bee Pollen, along with other ingredients but I'm not to familiar with all the other stuff they put in there or how much, so I thought, if Bee Pollen is one of the main ingredients why take all that other stuff, why not just take Bee Pollen?

Angela's Response:

There is no set way to use bee pollen for weight loss per say. Some people take 1 tablespoon about 30 minutes before meals to help fill them up and balance their blood sugar. This is very popular and the method I get the best feedback about. Other people use it as a 'meal replacement'. They take several tablespoons or more for one of their meals, usually breakfast or lunch. (they only use these high amounts after building up slowly to these levels) with water.

Is Propolis the same thing as bee pollen?
by: Deb

Hello! I started taking propolis harvested from honeybees when I caught a bad virus last week. It may have been complicated by mold exposure, so I started taking a Propolis tincture. After a few days of taking the supplement, I found I just wasn't that hungry. My sugar cravings have really diminished. I've been reading about bee pollen, and all the weight loss side effects. I'm wondering if there is any research out there that supports propolis acting in the same way? Thank you! Deb

Hi Deb,
I suspect it might be linked to the blood sugar/appetite control abilities of propolis:

NO Help With Wt Loss or Hair
by: Anonymous

I had to comment so people reading these comments would not get false hope. I am 48 been taking tsp raw bee pollen YSECo Farms for over a yr and have currently increased to 1 1/2-2tsp I have had some chronic illness issues. It has helped w some things BUT it most certainly did NOT help me lose ANY weight. It most certainly did NOT help with hair growth as balding is an issue ive been dealing with and I'd know..as well as fingernails being stronger or longer-big fat NOPE> It is still an awesome product for health and I highly recommend it..but if you are only interested in the comments above don't get your hopes up with this.

My personal experience losing weight with bee pollen
by: Nicole

I HAVE BEEN TAKING BEE POLLEN GRANULES FOR A YEAR NOW AND I HAVE LOST 35 LBS. AT FIRST I DIDN'T REALIZE THAT IT WAS THE BEE POLLEN. I TAKE A TEASPOON EVERY MORNING WITH COFFEE. I WENT TO THE DOCTOR AND HE WAS VERY CONCERNED BECAUSE I WAS LOSING WT. NEEDLESS TO SAY HE PREFORMED ALL THE TEST POSSIBLE AND COULDN'T FIND OUT WHAT OR WHY I WAS LOSING WT. SO I HIT THE INTERNET AND DISCOVERED THIS IS THE REASON BEHIND IT. I CAN LOSE WT., GRADUALLY WHEN I WANT TO BUT THIS WAS THE BEST WAY. I FEEL ALOT BETTER I FEEL HEALTHIER. NOW I AM WONDERING IF I INCREASE MY DOSAGE WOULD A LOSE MORE BUT I AM KIND OF CONCERNED AND DON'T WANT TO OVER DO IT. ALSO IN TAKING BEE POLLEN MY HAIR HAS GROWN A WHOLE LOT AND IT IS MUCH STRONGER, AND HEALTHIER.

Angela's Comments:

Hi Nicole,
First of all, congratulations on your safe, effective weight loss using bee pollen granules. You could certainly try increasing your dose of bee pollen per day to observe if you lose more weight as you are only taking one teaspoon, which is not a lot. So give it a try. Some people find more to be effective but every one reacts differently. If after one month you don't see any accelerated fat loss, return to taking one teaspoon per day.

Bee healthy,
Angela

Bee pollen and weight loss

I have several friends who are taking bee pollen and are having great success. I chose your website because it didn't have any of the chinese herbs, just the pollen. However I have been taking the tablets for one week and I haven't lost any weight and don't feel any differently energy wise. Could it be I'm not taking enough? I take one tablet in the morning and one at night.

Angela's Comments:

The customers who report back to us the best results using bee pollen for weight loss seem to use bee pollen in 2 ways. First, they take 1 or 2 tablespoons of granules about 30 minutes before meals to help fill them up and balance their blood sugar. This is very popular and the method I get the best feedback about. We also get people who use it as a 'meal replacement'. They take several tablespoons or more for one of their meals, usually breakfast or lunch. (they only use these high amounts after building up slowly to these levels) with water. Because of the larger amount of pollen needed in both of these methods, the tablets don't lend themselves very well to weight loss. You'd need to consume 6 - 12 tablets at a time. So I would suggest using a raw granule based product instead of the tablets. In the meantime, try upping your dose of the tablets before meals.

Can bee pllen be used to lose weight?

Can bee pollen used to lose weight?

Angela's Response:

Hi Brenda,
It has been my experience that bee pollen can aid in effective fat loss. Why this is has not be scientifically validated but I have my reasons that I believe it helps. I have written at length about them here:

https://www.bee-pollen-buzz.com/bee-pollen-appetite-suppressant.html

There are some bee pollen products on the market that aggressively claim to aid in weight loss and make plenty of promises. The most popular one is called Zi Xiu Tang. It is rather deceiving in its claims as it is not a bee pollen product alone. It has several other ingredients in it, the primary one being green tea. Green tea is a very effective fat loss supplement and I highly recommend taking green tea along with bee pollen for maximum effect. The bee pollen in the Zi Xiu Tang product is from China which raises concerns for me about the quality of the ingredients.

Hot or cold beverage?
by: Mary

I read somewhere when taking the bee pollen that it is not beneficial to take it with hot beverages. So when you drink it with the green tea is your green tea cold or room temperature?

Bee pollen to lose weight?

by Carmen
(Cincinati)

Hi my blood pressure is a little high , I need to lose weight in order to reduce my BP , is this safe product for me? Thanks.

Carmen

Angela's Comments:

Hi Carmen,
Yes, bee pollen is quite safe. I don't find bee pollen to be the most effective weight loss supplement on its own however. Read my suggestions on fast, effective, all natural weight loss here:

https://www.bee-pollen-buzz.com/bee-pollen-diet-pills.html

This protocol will help you lose belly fat, boost energy and vitality and control appetite.

Let me know if you have any questions at all.

Pollen vs. Capsules
by: Anonymous

Hello. I'm considering purchasing the "Rapid Weight Loss Protocol," however, as mentioned in earlier comments, I understand it's more efficient to take the actual pollen rather than tablets/capsules. For this reason, I am unsure about purchasing, since the Protocol has capsules in it.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you!

Angela's Comments:

Yes, it is more economical and effective taking the granules. If you'd like to do this, purchase the granules and the Shapesmart and GlucoSmart individually.
