I am 55 years old and have terrible oily skin and cystic acne. I'm tired of dealing with this and have tried every acne treatment available. HELP!
Hy Lynn,
I'm so sorry that you're dealing with this. I would suggest treating this internally (your skin is an organ after all). And with sensitive skin, we have to be careful applying anything else to it. My protocol for cystic acne includes the following:
1. GLA Skin Oil (the main compound in this oil helps with virtually every skin condition one can imagine)

2. Collagen Plus - supports healthy skin, hair and nails.

3. Multi-mineral/vitamin formula - I only recommend and use MultiSmart for Women.
https://www.bee-pollen-buzz.com/lorna-vanderhaeghe-products.html#multismart
4. And lastly, I highly recommend you use something called EstroSmart. Skin issues start in the liver and this product will help detoxify you and eliminate excess estrogens and chemicals from your system while also balancing your hormones.
And if you can, consume bee pollen each day....

Once you have the acne under control, I'd suggest our So Ho Mish cream for scarring and redness or the Celadrin Skin Therapy Cream.
I can assure you that this protocol will help. Let me know if you have any other questions that I can assist you with.

Hi,
I have acne prone skin. My fiance has severe acne and furuncles on his face, neck, and back. I've been eating honey, taking propolis capsules, and drinking bee polen for a month. I would say that the look of my skin has improved, but it's not perfect yet. I read a lot about Royal Jely but never tried it. I ordered Royal Jely and more propolis today and was wandering if these products help to get rid of acne and furuncles. I also have scars from acne, and was wandering if there was any skin peel that I could purchase from this website.
Thank you,
Valentina
Angela's Comments:
Hi Valentina,
Thank you for contacting me. I'm sorry to hear about your skin challenges. Royal jelly is very good for the skin so I would suggest giving it some time to help. You may want to try applying raw honey to the furuncles. Raw honey is wonderful for open wounds and has anti-bacterial properties. I'd also highly recommend you get a special oil call Borage Oil. It is an amazing skin oil that is taken internally. Remember, the skin is an organ so you must also treat it internally. We now carry a version called GLA Skin oil in our web store as it is so effective.

Hi Angela,
I really enjoyed reading your story and your website is extremely informative!
I have been thinking of taking royal jelly to help with my acne. I've had it since I got my period as an adolescent and notice it gets worse near the time of the month for me all the time. Your skin looks amazing in your picture, can you recommend some tips? For the last couple of years, I've tried changing my diet and adopting a much more natural and holistic way of life. It has helped a lot, but it hasn't cleared completely.
I was wondering if the royal jelly would help balance my hormones, and therefore help me with my skin? Would you recommend the fresh royal jelly or the concentrated powder? What's the difference?
I was also thinking of ordering the So Ho Mish Miracle Cream to put on my face and neck. Would you recommend that for me? I think I have combination skin. My skin is dry but I have clogged pores of dry sebum, which creates pimples and bumps. I also have a somewhat oily t-zone.
Thanks in advance!
Vicki
Hi Vicki,
Thank you for your compliments...I'd love to try and help you out with your skin. You are correct, royal jelly is a very good hormonal modulator and may help clear things up.
What I suspect is happening with you is that the excessive hormones in the body are not being metabolized by your liver around the time of your period. This is often caused by the egg getting stuck and excessive xeon-estrogens in the body from the environment. What we need to do is help you metabolize the excess estrogens in your body and get them out of your system, which will help clear up the acne. The product EstroSmart is designed for this as is our GLA Skin oil. I'd highly recommend them both if you can do it.
I would suggest starting with EstroSmart, GLA Skin Oil and Royal Jelly before using the So Ho Mish.
You can find the EstroSmart and GLA Oil here:

Hi, I am in my 30s and have been dealing with acne...I have sensitive, oily, and acne prone skin. Do you recommend any of your products? Thank you for your help and time!!
Hi Angie,
The first thing I recommend for adult acne is a product called EstroSmart. The reason being is that in these cases, almost all women are what is called 'bad estrogen dominant.' This causes issues for your liver which needs to be detoxed of the bad estrogens which can be found in plastics, tap water, many packaging materials, deoderants, anti-perspirants, shampoo and perfumes to name a few. EstroSmart has clinically proven ingredients that will remove these toxic compounds from your body. The liver, which is very important for detoxification along with the skin, gets toxic over time and this manifests itself in the skin for many women.

I'd also suggest using only natural creams that are not oil based. Our So Ho Mish cream (https://www.bee-pollen-buzz.com/So-Ho-Mish.html) is wonderful for this. And lastly, consider the GLA Skin Oil. This is a special oil taken internally that is amazing for skin health. This combination should do wonders for you.

I am 21 years old and developed adult acne 2 years ago, I am getting the GLA Skin Oil and Estrosmart that you recommend, what else would you advise me to take honey wise? Royal Jelly, Propolis, Bee Pollen? (I do not have any allergies)
And what are the ingredients in your soap? Is it good for oily skin?
Angela's Comments:
Hi Anastasia,
Yes, EstroSmart and GLA Skin Oil along with Bee Pollen are a must.
Bee Pollen Soap ingredients:
Ingredients: Sodium Palmate, Sodium Palm Kernelate, Palm Kernal Acid, Glycerin, Sodium Chloride, Bee Pollen, Beta Carotene Colour, Calamus essential oil, Carrot Essence and Wormwood essential oil.
And yes, it is great for those with oily skin.
If you are going to consume honey, I would recommend our Raw Honey.
Other tips:
1. Remove as much processed sugar out of your diet as possible
2. Eat 40 grams of fiber a day to remove toxins out of the body. Fiber binds to the toxins and removes them. Very important. I recommend and use FiberSmart by Renew Life.
3. Eat fruits and vegetables - remove anything processed (in a box) from your diet.
4. Add Omega 3's from Fish Oil to your daily intake. 1 full teaspoon each day of a flavored oil or 3 x 1000 mg capsules per day.
Hope that helps,
Angela
